**Category:** Item form → Main Category (Product Group) + Sub Category (Product Type). Picker me **Add** se nayi category ban sakti hai. Web pe catalog/business-type se groups bhi aate hain.
**Unit:** Unit picker → PCS/KG/L… ya Add unit.
**GST slab:** Dropdown se GST@0% … GST@28% (org slabs; empty pe defaults seed). Sale invoice usi rate se CGST/SGST/IGST breakdown banata hai (settings/place of supply pe depend).

Service item bina stock ke kaise banaye?
Item form me **Service / no stock** (agar option available) select karein. Service items billing ke liye hote hain; inventory qty track nahi hoti. Consulting/labour charges ke liye useful.
